AMRITSARI PANEER /COTTAGE CHEESE

Serve  : 2

INGREDIENTS
Cottage cheese/paneer  - 250 gms
Butter  -  1 tbsp
Clarified butter  -  1 tbsp
Finely chopped onion  - 2
Tomato puree  -  1 cup
Ginger garlic paste  -  1 tsp
Cardamom powder  -  1/4 tsp
Cloves powder  -  1/4 tsp
Carom seeds  -  1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder  -  1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder  -  1/4 tsp
Green chilly  -  2 - 3
Honey  -  1 tsp
Cream  -  2 tbsp
Hot spices/ garam masala powder  -  1/2 tsp
Salt  -  to taste
Chopped coriander leaves  -  1 tbsp

METHOD
Heat butter and clarified butter in a pan.
Add carom seeds and onion and stir fry until golden brown.
Add tomato puree,ginger garlic paste,cardamom powder,cloves powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder and mix well.
Cover it in a low flame for five mins.
Add green chilly,honey cream and hot spices powder and salt and saute for few seconds.
Lastly we add cottage cheese/paneer and mix well.
Add half cup of water and make thick gravy.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
