BASUNDI


Prep Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 25  mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Milk  -  2 cup
Mawa / whole dried milk  - 100 gms
Sugar  -  2 tbsp
Saffron  -  few strands
Chopped cashew nuts  -  1 tbsp
Chopped almonds  -  1 tbsp
Raisins  -  1 tbsp
Cardamom powder  -  1/4 tsp

METHOD
Boil milk in a heavy bottom vessel.
Once boiled,keep it in a low flame.
Stir occassionaly for thickening the milk.
Add mawa / whole dried milk ,sugar and saffron and mix well.
Turn off the flame.
Add cardamom  powder,roughly chopped cashew nuts,almonds ans raisins.
Allow it to cool completely.
Yummy basundi is ready to serve with jalebi.
