LEMON CAKE



INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour/ maida                        -                            3/4 cup
Baking powder                                      -                            1 tsp
Vanilla custard                                       -                           1 tbsp
Butter                                                   -                           100 gms / 1/2 cup
Sugar                                                    -                           3/4 cup
Eggs                                                     -                            2
Grated lemon zest                                    -                            1 tsp
Lemon juice                                           -                           1 tsp

METHOD
Sieve all purpose flour / maida and baking powder together.
Take a mixing bowl add butter and sugar and mix until creamy and fluffy.
Beat the egg and add it.
Add all purpose flour/ maida and baking powder and mix well.
Add grated lemon zest in it.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Preheat oven to 150 degree c.
Grease and dust with flour a 9 inch round baking cake pans.
Pour the batter into dish.
Bake for 20 mins. in the preheat oven.
Now the lemon cake is ready.
Check by inserting a knife, if it comes out clear it done..
